GYMNASTICS CLASSES
Beginner 2
Ages 7+: This class requires at least 1 full year of gymnastics experience (AcroLittles class included). The child knows and attempts beginner skills independently, but may still need assistance and coaching to improve them. They will also learn more complex beginner skills to prepare them for the intermediate level.

*For children who are 6 years old and have had 1+ years of class experience. 5 year olds will not be considered.
Intermediate
Ages 7+: The child can perform all beginner skills independently. Your child will progress their beginner skills to the next level on each gymnastics event.

*For children who are 6 years old and have had 1+ years of class experience. 5 year olds will not be considered.

Skills your child must be independent with to be in this class:
o Vault: proper hurdle onto springboard, squat on, straddle on, forward pike roll, jumps off board to stick position
o Bars: front support, forward roll to chin hold, pull over using block, casts (hips off bar), straight leg glide
o Beam: high beam walks on toe, high beam forward kicks, relevé hold, straight jump on high beam, lever on low beam
o Floor: forward roll, backward roll, vertical cartwheel, vertical handstand, bridge kickover down wedge, back bend
Advanced
The child can perform all intermediate skills independently with good form. They will progress their intermediate skills on each gymnastics event.

Skills your child must know and be independent with to be in this class:
o All skills from beginner and intermediate classes
o Vault: jump to dive roll, jump to handstand flatback, kick to handstand fall flat back
o Bars: cast back hip circle, pullover without mats, climbing on top of low bar, jump sole circle dismount, single leg cut
o Beam: 45 deg handstand on low beam, side handstand to 45 deg on low beam, spotted cartwheel on low beam or independent cartwheel attempts, pivot turn, round off dismount
o Floor: handstand forward roll, handstand to bridge, bridge to stand, bridge kick over on floor, round off rebound
